One of Dyson’s most powerful cordless stick vacuums. The sixth generation Dyson Cylone V10 Absolute cordless stick vacuum has more suction power most other lightweight cordless vacuum cleaners available. The V10 Absolute model has higher suction, longer battery life and a new modified In-line configuration creating 20% more suction than the V8. This new model has the power of a corded upright yet weighs less than 6 pounds. It is ideal for quick cleaning on all floor types, upholstery, stairs and inside your car. Since it is an Absolute version it can handle pet hair with extra included tools. Whole Machine HEPA Filtration ( captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns).

Dyson V10 Absolute Features: The Dyson Absolute cordless vacuums are Dyson’s only cordless vacuums to come with two floor tools. The new Motorized Torque Drive Floor Tool is powered by a direct drive motor, and has two types of brushes for different surfaces and removes 25% more dust from carpets than the previous version. Ultra-fine anti-static carbon fiber brushes can remove fine dust from hard floors, while rotating nylon bristles remove ground-in dirt from carpets, and is easily disassembled for cleaning. The Fluffy Hard Floor Tool is included with the V10 Absolute and can handle large and small particles from hard floors at the same time with its soft rollers. An example would be cheerios and flour. It is Dyson’s best Hard Floor Tool ever.

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Cordless: The V10 Absolute comes with the Mini Dusting Brush, which can clean your computer keyboard, car interiors, and furniture, as it has very soft bristles. The Dyson V10 has a lightweight detachable long reach wand which can be used for cleaning high places, as well as hard to reach areas.

It is easily removable, converting your V10 Absolute into a handheld vacuum. The Motorized Floor Tool can be attached to the handheld unit for vacuuming either carpets or hard floors (including hardwood floors).

The V10 Absolute has a MAX power mode for those tough areas which require maximum suction. Low power mode runtime is 60 minutes, medium is 40 minutes per charge (7 minutes on MAX). The lithium ion (nickel manganese cobalt) batteries charge faster than most other cordless vacuums (charge time: 3.5 hours). The vacuum does not rely on the filter to trap dirt, and has a lifetime washable filter. 14 concentric array cyclones separates out dust and dirt and assures no loss of suction. As with all Dyson vacuums, this unit is bagless, so no bags to buy. This model comes with the new mini soft dusting brush.

Dyson V10 Upgrade Features Vs. the V8 Model: The new Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute has improvements and differences over the previous V8 cordless model. The improved Torque Drive Floor Tool available only on the V10 absolute and animal models, removes 25% more dust than previous models. This cleaner head also has a new 3 position switch to capture larger particles if needed.

The New V10 motor and inline configuration has increased maximum suction power by 20% in Max mode, the dust bin is now 40% larger. Battery life has increased from 40 minutes to 60 minutes in the suction mode. There are now 3 suction modes: These modes are Low (16 airwatts with 60 minutes suction or 30 minutes with motorized tool), Medium (32 airwatts with 30 minutes of suction or 20 minutes with a motorized tool), and High (150 airwatts with 6 minutes of runtime). The battery itself now has three LED lights to indicate current charge condition, a new clog indicator was added, and a new filter cleaning indicator was added. As with the V8 model this vacuum is quieter in the medium and low power settings.

Smart-Review Commentary: The Dyson V10 is a sixth generation cordless stick vacuum with many improvements. The biggest change is that this model has an In-line configuration that allows for 20% greater suction over the V8 model. Other improvements are a longer battery life, new V10 motor, 40% larger dust bin, and an improved new Dirt & Dust Ejection System that empties the bin, and scrapes the dust off the bin and screen, all in one action.

The V10 Absolute has the excellent Soft Roller Hard Floor Tool, which is fantastic at cleaning hard floors, for both large and tiny particles. Great for Hardwood Floors without scratching them. The V10 Absolute has the power of an upright in a vacuum weighing less than 6 lbs., but without cords. You get up to 60 minutes (30 with motorized tool) of cleaning time, or 6 minutes on Max. It is actually two vacuums in one. A cordless stick vacuum, and a cordless handheld. The V10 uses a special lithium ion (nickel manganese cobalt) battery, which is the best type for constant power throughout its charge.

The Cyclone V10 Cordless comes with a wall mounted docking station, for charging, and convenience. The Mini Motorized Hand Tool is great for stairs, upholstery, and car interiors, and for pet hair removal. The V10 cordless vacuum is very versatile for getting different floor types, stairs, upholstery, drapes, and car interiors. Like a full size Dyson, this smaller version has an advanced Two Tier Radial™ Cyclone Technology technology to prevent clogging, and the dust bin empties from the bottom. It has a low reach, so you can easily vacuum under a bed with the Motorized Floor Tool. This is great for quick cleanups as well. This cordless model has received excellent consumer reviews.

The Absolute model has enough power to pick up dirt, dust, and especially pet hair and has Whole machine HEPA filtration for cleaner air output (great for those with pets or allergies).
